60-Credit Hour Post-License Course
All real estate brokers are required by the Florida Real Estate Commission to complete a 60-credit hour post license course prior to their first license renewal. The courses may be conducted in classroom and distance learning environments.

Exemption From 60-Credit Hour Post License Education Requirement
Any applicant who has a 4-year degree in Real Estate from an accredited institution of higher learning is exempt from the 60-credit hour sales associate post-license course, but must submit their official transcripts from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Attorneys are NOT exempt from the post-license requirements. Attorneys must take the 60-credit hour sales associate post license course. Failure to complete required course hours prior to the expiration date of their first renewal, will result in a license being null and void.
