28-Credit Hour Reactivation Course
All real estate sales associates and brokers are required to complete 14-hours of continuing education, every two years before their license expires excluding their the first renewal period their current license. At R. A. Thomas Educational Center these courses are available to students in classroom, distant learning, hybrid and livestream environments.

Exemption From 63-Credit Hour Education Requirement
Attorneys in good standing and active with the Florida Bar are exempt from the 63-credit hour sales associate pre-license course, but must make application to DBPR and pass the state exam. Attorneys seeking licensure as a sales associate should include their Florida Bar license number and information in Section III of the state application.
Any applicant who has a 4-year degree in Real Estate from an accredited institution of higher learning is exempt from the 63-credit hour sales associate pre-license course, but must make application to DBPR and pass the state exam. Applicants seeking licensure as sales associate should include their official transcripts from an accredited institution of higher learning.
